Then we hopped on one of the ferry boats that go around the lake. You can see some amazing villas from the lake ... We can't decide which one to buy. What do you think?
We also saw this old hotel on the edge of Bellagio. We thought maybe we could snatch up this fixer-upper and renovate it.
Next stop was Lenno, where Villa Balbianello is. After being dropped off at Lenno we had to walk through town to the other end and catch a water taxi to the Villa.
It is a beautiful villa and has lovely gardens. Scenes from Casino Royale and Star Wars, Episode II, were shot there.
After that we strolled around Lenno a bit (more gelato!) ... Before boarding the ferry again for the return trip.
Then back to our place to rest up for dinner. Our view from the balcony ...

It is a restaurant called Sole WAY up in the hills. We went there six years ago when we were here and it was great. Very local hangout and nobody speaks English. There is no menu, they just come tell you what the homemade pastas of the day are and ask how many you want (at least that's what we thought they said!). Once again, it was wonderful.

This little girl came over and joined us for a bit. I think the waiter and/or chef were babysitting her. Adorable.
